This site contains news of the forthcoming Codsall Christmas Fair, a schedule of events, guidance for Codsall residents and businesses, information for Stallholders and photographs and visitor feedback from previous events
After the spectacular return of Codsall Christmas Fair in 2021, 2022 is set to be another bumper year with more stalls more entertainment and more fun for all the family
We will again have our live bands in two locations - in front of The Crown in The Square and in Station Road. The Salvation Army band will again treat us to some Christmas favourites as well accompanying the traditional Carols around the Christmas Tree in Station Road.
Our traditional Carol Service around the Christmas Tree, with the School and Church Choirs will be at 7pm as usual
At least five varied hot food outlets located throughout the Event Area and our village centre shops, cafes and pubs will all be open and also offering tasty snacks and meals
We will have again managed to secure the services of the brilliant street entertainer Steve Kaos and there will also be some surprise guests in our streets. Our very colourful Town Crier will also be on hand to announce the events.
Santa will again be in Station Road for our younger visitors to meet Santa, receive a gift and post their Christmas wish list
The Fairground will again take over the whole of The Crown car park. There will be lots of rides and games for the kids and there will also be the kiddies roundabout in Church Road and bouncy castles at The Bull
We expect to have over 50 stalls this year selling a whole variety of Christmas themed products, toys, gifts, decorations and, of course, food and watch out for the new additions to our event
Codsall village shops, pubs and clubs will all be entering into the festive mood and will be open thought the event offering a wide range of hot and cold food. Some of the pubs and clubs will be offering further food and entertainment later in the evening
In addition to the 4 village centre car parks, there is additional parking available at Codsall Station (30 spaces – 3 minutes’ walk) and at the South Staffordshire District Council offices (6 minutes’ walk)
In July last year, Codsall Christmas Fair Group had the honour of being voted “Volunteer Team of the Year” by Support Staffordshire. Earlier this year, we were again shortlisted for an award and were delighted to win again. This is a great honour and reflects both the hard work that goes into staging this event but also the contribution the Christmas fair makes to the community of Codsall.
